I think the
WELS Bandfest is one of the best kept secrets of the instrumental programs of our
WELS high schools. It is an honors band of almost 100 of the best student instrumentalists from the 22 WELS Lutheran high schools scattered around the USA. But unless a regional or national Bandfest is being hosted by a WELS high school in your area or unless you have a son or daughter playing in one, you may have never even heard of it, let alone been to a Bandfest concert.
Winnebago Lutheran Academy is hosting one of the two of this year's regional Bandfests (the other is at
Northland Lutheran HS near Wausau this same weekend.)

Winnebago Lutheran Academy.
