It is...It's a challenge in the church as well. It is easy to pick hymns and choir pieces everyone knows and likes. Yet it is our task to take the congregation (or choir) and expose them to different forms, introduce hymns that will stretch their comfort zone, expose them to theologically solid texts, etc. <br /><br />My choir was invited to sing at a multi-cultural concert a few years back. We sang a gospel song and a Mozart piece (Ave Verum Corpus).
